Bad Gyal Riri is officially a billionaire!
In 2017 when Rihanna launched Fenty she wanted the cosmetic line for women everywhere to feel included.
She shook the industry when she dropped the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation that now comes in 50 shades. Truly the most inclusive foundation range until this day.
According to Forbes “Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion, Forbes estimates—making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer. But it’s not her music that’s made her so wealthy. The bulk of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) comes from the value of Fenty Beauty, of which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50%. Much of the rest lies in her stake in her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, worth an estimated $270 million, and her earnings from her career as a chart-topping musician and actress.”
Much of the success comes from the inclusiveness she showcases within her brands. Savage x Fenty showcases both women and men of all sizes which mainstream media hasn’t seen and was needed. Fenty’s shade range was a game changer in which other cosmetic companies took notice and made changes to their brand.
Big ups to our Bajan sistren Ms. Robyn Fenty!
We’re still waiting on music though!
