2020 was a year for the books. The pandemic shook the entire world with covid numbers hitting the United States heavily. New York and California ended up being the epicenter once upon a time, and with covid STILL here, being a frontline worker is necessary during one of the most challenging times in history.
The fight for this pandemic to be over seems promising thanks to everyone in the medical field. The International Council of Nurses’ theme for Nurses Week is “Nurses: A Voice to Lead.” Indeed these nurse frontliners have seen a slew of life-changing circumstances only to make them stronger and lead to elevate nursing practices and define what it means to provide compassionate, connected care.
To our RNs, LPNs, CRNAs, CNS, ER Nurses, Geriatric Nurses, OR Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Travel nurses, we thank you, we respect you, and this virus will surely come to an end.
If you know a nurse big them up. They deserve the world!
